Halström Outpost 7. Antarctica. Twelve researchers share one shrinking airlock and one terrible secret: a parasitic intelligence called the Thaw has begun copying its hosts. One by one, the crew is being replaced. You are one of them. Maybe.
Deep Frost translates John Carpenter's The Thing (1982) into the structural language of Gnosia. Every run is procedurally generated: twelve named NPCs with persistent traits, professions, grudges, and run-specific rapport. ~45-minute runs. Hundreds of branching endings. The deduction lives in the NPCs - no multiplayer, no anonymous lobbies.
AeonGames is a one-person indie studio in Ontario, Canada, founded in 2026 to build paranoid, story-first horror games.
The studio is solo - design, code, writing, audio direction, and marketing all run through one person. That commitment lets us pick specific tonal lanes most studios won't touch: cold, deliberate, narrative-forward indie horror that earns its dread in the silences.
Design philosophy: small scope, high replay density, no jump scares. Pay every external contributor. Ship something a small audience loves rather than something a big audience tolerates.
Steam keys ready, custom screenshots / GIFs / build access on request. Carpenter-horror and social-deduction lanes are the natural fit.
Recoupable advances / project investment for launch + post-launch marketing scale. Solo dev, 100% original IP, no equity dilution required.
Inventive aesthetic + Carpenter-flavored singleplayer angle make Deep Frost a strong pick for indie horror / showcase events.
